Rek Anthony - Lead Singer

Rek Anthony was born in England, and immigrated to the United States in the late 1980’s.

Coming from a background rooted in NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), Rek Anthony has had plenty of experience singing Bruce Dickinson’s songs as a former singer and song writer for the British heavy metal band SAMSON. Rek wrote and sang several songs for two Samson CD’s: Past, Present and Future, and Tomorrow and Yesterday as part of the band’s twenty year reunion. Rek also had the opportunity to perform many of Bruce’s songs while on the road with Paul Samson, and he attributes Bruce Dickinson among other great singers, as a major influence in developing his own vocal style.

Rek started off his vocal career as lead singer for the Canadian Heavy Metal band BREAKER, who’s “In Days of Heavy Metal” album is considered an iconic classic heavy metal record to collectors. Rek also wrote a song called “Fountain Keeper” for Metal Blade Records “Metal Massacre 6”, album which features his band PATHFINDER. Snakepit Magazine recently wrote an extensive article featuring some of Rek’s early musical history. Rek has also written and/or recorded on countless studio projects in New York, LA, and the UK, and has sang on many jingles for radio and TV including: Batman Forever: The Video Game

Tom Talevski - Bass Guitar

Tom takes on the role of Steve Harris in Sanctuary. His live gear consists of Fender bass guitars, and a Gallien Kruger head with a 4 x 10 and a 1 x15 cabinet. Song knowledge wise, Tom is familiar with over 90 Iron Maiden songs.

Jimmy Peruta - Drums

The Ryhthm of the Beast is driven by Jimmy Peruta. Hailed from New Jersey Jimmy has a progressive rock background and has performed in the Rush Tribute band Hemispheres. In the late 90's he was a member of Eternity X which went on to be signed with Angular Records, released 3 CD’s and toured Europe. A few years later he formed Exhibition which got signed to LMP Records and released a CD. In Sanctuary, he performs the styles of both Clive Burr and Nicko McBrain with ease and incredible attention to detail.

Rich Parrigin - Guitar

Rich Parrigin was Born in Elmsford New York and has had a love for the guitar since seeing Kiss play at Madison Square Garden when he was 10 years old. Since then Rich has been in many bands through out the years such as : Black Witch, Virgin, Enforcer, and Kaptain Krunch. Mastering licks from his other idol Yngwie Malmsteen, Rich is known to put on quite a show and has pleased his many fans over the years with not only his flawless guitar playing but his display of his guitar tricks as well. Rich has played in many venues over the years such as ; The Chance in Poughkeepsie N.Y., Lamours in Brooklyn N.Y. , The Rock Palace in Middletown N.Y., and Streets in New Rochelle, N.Y. just to name a few. Rich's love for guitar was also displayed in his craftsmanship in working for Ned Steinberger at Steinberger Sound in Newburgh N.Y. to where he had the privilege of building many custom guitars for such artist as, Eddie Van Halen, Vito Bratta, and Allan Holdsworth. Rich's influences are Classical guitar, and Heavy Metal. He has been dedicated to his instrument for 25 years and his love and dedication to this instrument can be shown during his performances to where he pours his heart and soul into every screaming note he plays.

Mark Garcia - Guitar
I have many guitar player influences, Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van Halen, George Lynch, Gary & Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, & Yngwie Malmsteen. I also owe special thanks to my private guitar teacher Dave Celentano, for his insight on mutli finger guitar tapping. I play on a Washburn guitar, 2 B.C. Rich's, (a Warlock & a Bich), and currently, I play on an Iron Maiden, limited edition, Fender Stratocaster. For my sound, I use a Rocktron Voodu Valve through an Exciter, to a compressor, and finally, to a Mesa Boogie Strategy 500 tube amp.
Eddie - The Official Mascot
Eddie started out as a paper-mache, head shaped figure that spit blood during Iron Maiden's early beginnings. He was referred to as the 'ead, because in London, the H isn't pronounced. So over a period of time, they called the head shape mask, the 'ead, Ed, Eddie, and finally, Eddie the 'ead. Eddie remained bodiless until 1979, that's when artist, Derek Riggs, drew the 1st Eddie picture for Iron Maiden's 1st, self-titled, debut album. Eddie's name has also been seen on the Live After Death album as Edward T. H, meaning Eddie The Head.
In Sanctuary, Eddie is our 15 foot tall mascot, and is the 1st and only Iron Maiden custom moving inflatable in existence. Check out a video clip of Eddie in action on our Videos page.
